  • Dictionary Stories: Short Fictions and Other Findings by Jez Burrows. The production editor wrote to me, “Author and editor LOVED your copyedit of Dictionary Stories, so thank you! The tone of your queries and the degree of the changes you made were right on point.”
  • The Detective and the Chinese High-Fin by Michael Craven
  • Border Crossings: A Journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway by Emma Fick
  • How to Be a Patient by Sana Goldberg. In addition to a thorough line edit, I reorganized the book, moving sections and chapters into a more cohesive order. The production editor wrote to me, “The author of How to Be a Patient said your copyediting was ‘exceptional,’ and she’s so grateful for your thorough and helpful work!”

  • The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris (the bestseller and now Peacock original show)
  • Hotel Living by Ioannis Pappos.

  • The Social Sex by Marilyn Yalom. I included an extensive editorial note with queries on sources and suggested changes to language related to gender, sex, and sexuality. While I don’t have a written testimonial from the author, she did send me a fruit basket!

I’ve also edited many reports for the Council on Foreign Relations, including:
